| FIRST FRIDAY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION:
FIRST FRIDAY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Following the 12.15 pm Mass on the first Friday of each month there will be a period of Eucharistic Adoration, concluding with Benediction at 1.30 pm. You would be most welcome to come for some or all of the 45 minutes of Adoration. Prayers are particularly requested for Vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life and in preparation for the 2008 Sydney World Youth Day. Adoration before the exposed Blessed Sacrament concluding with Benediction is also held in the parish every Tuesday 4.45 – 5.45 pm at St Peter Chanel’s, Yarralumla. Adoration is a consequence of and leads to our gathering at the Eucharist or the Mass, especially the Sunday Mass, ‘the source and summit’ of all our endeavours.

Prayer in the Cathedral Crypt (Canberra Avenue entrance) will follow the Lectio Divina style. The Lectio method allows the Word of God to live and to become embedded and enmeshed in our hearts
You are warmly invited to share a quiet hour in the intimacy of the Crypt in a journey of prayer which is about tasting, hearing, seeing and embracing that word so that we can live it with every part of our being.
